25 Weeks

I just saw my whole stomach do the wave as baby girl was moving around....it's so cool!

We have a name!

Addison Marie Wilson :)

We had be talking about the name Addison and I really liked it. Brian did too, but he sat on it for a while. This past week we talked about middle names to see if that would solidify it. We finally agreed on Addison Marie!

I've been super tired this week...my body is trying to fight off getting a cold...I think with that and the Addison growing...it makes for one tired mama!

24 weeks!

24 weeks! I like the number 24...it's my 2nd favorite number!

We had a doctors appointment on Friday. I thought I was having the glucose test, but I guess I'm having it next time! It was just a regular old appointment. Baby is still doing great! 

I'm starting to get a little uncomfortable at times. My belly is stretching and growing. I'm also having some pains in my ribs when I sit down too long. I know I have 16 more weeks to go...so I better not start complaining now! 

I've pretty much decided on a name, but Brian isn't ready to commit to it yet. I really wish he was! I love the name that we have been talking about!

23 Weeks!

I almost posted yesterday.

Then I realized that I put 22 weeks on the board...and my hair was a hot mess...so we decided to do a redo today!

Some of my family has pitched in to get our crib! It's been ordered and it's on it's way! Yey!!

We have another doctors appointment this Friday. I think this might be the glucose testing?...but I'm not positive.

I'm super tired and really looking forward to relaxing...so I'm keeping this one short and sweet!

Not a huge change...but I feel like she's moving up and moving in!

Overwhelmed

Is it normal to start feeling completely overwhelmed at this point in pregnancy?

I'm about 4 months away from meeting my little girl and I'm starting to freak out a bit!

I have the normal stress from work, well maybe a little more than usual this year....but now I'm stressing about the baby after she's born.

I'm/We are trying to figure out:
Babysitter
Maternity Leave-HR isn't very helpful
When we are ever going to start the baby room
How we are going to fit all this baby stuff in our small townhouse
Baby's name
Baby Budget

Maternity leave is the biggie right now. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth using up all my sick time and take some unpaid time off or if we can even afford it. Or do I really just need to go back to work after 6 weeks so I can have some sick time for the rest of the school year just in case (even though I'll be heartbroken to go back after 6 weeks).

I'm finding myself sighing a lot lately.

And on top of it all, Brian has been working nights and I've barely been able to spend any time with him. I cried the other morning when he said he wouldn't be home in enough time for me to see him before I left for work.

I've been pretty level headed so far, but I'm really starting think I'm losing it all!

Sigh.

22 Weeks

Nothing too exciting going on!

Brian has been working night shift the last few days. I think I'm having some really weird dreams since he's not in the bed with me. My dream last night was about me killing aliens and they wouldn't die...

One of my college roomies came down from D.C. for the weekend. We had a lot of fun! We did our annual pumpkin picking and mini golfing. I think I forgot to get a picture of me picking my pumpkin...it was soooo hot!

Anyway...onto the pictures!

21 Weeks...

Brian says I still don't look pregnant. I think he's blind.

I'm starting to feel pregnant! My belly is starting to get in the way.

We registered this weekend...twice! The lost everything the first time registered. But we are registered now!

Baby girl is moving around like crazy! Brain got to feel her move this weekend!

Here's this week....                                               Here was about 12 weeks ago or so...

The bump is growing!

20 Weeks!

It's a girl!

We were both quite shocked. We had it in our minds that it was going to be a boy. She will be loved just the same, though :)

Last night we bought a pack n' play, high chair, stroller, swing, and a monitor. Babies 'R Us had a coupon for 20% off...so we couldn't resist! We went with a turquoise color scheme. I know it's not a girly color, but neither of us like the whole pink thing. We can always accent with girly colors! Plus, if we have another baby in the future, we thought turquoise was a gender neutral color.

Anyway...baby is about the size of a banana! I can't believe how big she is already! The first 20 weeks went fast, and I'm sure the next 20 weeks are going to go fast!

The ultrasound went great! She looks like she growing just fine!

I still don't think I look like my bump has grown much, but I'm sure it will start popping out more soon!

Brian is still working like crazy...so don't mind my crappy picture!
