34 Weeks

We're getting closer!

I've been busy trying to get things ready for Addison's arrival! I still have quite a few things to do...but I guess we get done what can get done!

We have a doctors appointment on Friday. I think after this one I'll have to start going every week until she's born. I'm hoping they'll have some late afternoon appointments so I don't have to take any more days off from work.

One of the things that I've done was put the swing together. I can't wait to put her in it :)

Today I'm going to try to put the pack n' play together. I might also try to finish cleaning the car so we can install the car seat and put the window shades up. 

There's so much to do!!!! So little time!!!! 

Of course Brian has been working like crazy again. He's going to have to have off this coming Sunday though because we are getting our maternity pictures done! Hopefully I don't look like a beached whale lol 

Anyway...here's the picture from 34 weeks...I was lazy and didn't do a board this week.

33 Weeks- Merry Christmas!

It's almost Christmas!

Brian and I were trying to get into the Christmas spirit this year...we were struggling a bit. Brian has been so busy this year that we haven't had a lot of time to do Christmas stuff. I finally convinced him to bring the tree down from the attic. I didn't put all the stuff I normally put on there, but we at least have a tree now!

I went to the doctors from my 33 week check up. I also had an ultrasound to check her heart. They didn't get good images when we had her 20 week anatomy scan. All is well with her heart! We also found out that she is going to take after her mom & dad's long legs! She's in the 80th percentile for the length of her legs and arms! I wonder how tall she'll be when she grows up...

32 Weeks

Busy!

That pretty much sums up life lately.

Brian has been working every day. He had a forced day off on Saturday which was great! We got some shopping done. Then he treated me to a prenatal massage, got Addison The Elf on the Shelf, and then took me to a movie! I was spoiled that day...and Addison is going to be spoiled by him too!

He's going to be such a great daddy :)

This week we have 2 child birthing classes. Yesterday's class was a little gross. I saw lots of pictures of other people that I never wanted to see....but I guess you have to be informed! Tomorrow night is our last class, thank goodness. We are exhausted!

I have 2 weeks off starting Saturday. Hopefully I can get most of the last minute things done before she comes. But I don't think we will ever be completely "ready". I'm hoping Brian will stop working on the weekends at the end of December and he can help me with some of the things I can't do. Plus, I want to spend some time with him before Addison comes :)

30ish & 31 weeks

 Life is getting busy!

I guess we better get use to it :)

We went up to Jersey for Thanksgiving and we had our baby shower while we were up there. It was beautiful! My family had it at Olive Garden for us- can I say spoiled?! Really! They went way above and beyond!

This weekend, while Brian has been working his tail off, I've been working in Addison's room. I've been going through her gifts. Mainly, I wanted to start getting the clothes organized. She has more clothes than I do!

Her room is still a mess, but maybe next weekend I'll have it mostly together....maybe....lol

We started our child birthing classes this week. We have 3 more to go. I'm not completely terrified yet...but there are 3 more sessions to go!

Oh! I forgot! While we were up in NJ we had a 3D/4D ultrasound. It was SO COOL! It was really special to have most of my immediate family there to see her dancing around in my belly :)

I think we all have agreed that she has Brian's nose :) It's such a cute one too :)

The coolest thing for me was being able to see what I've been feeling in my belly. She's starting to run out of room in there, but she's still rolling around!

I really think those tight shirts make my bump look bigger! I look bigger in the picture from 4 days ago! Oh well...I'm surely not shrinking! lol

29 1/2 weeks

I'm late.

Again.

Brian was working all weekend, so I didn't get a chance to get our picture done.

I passed my 3 hour glucose test! Yey! No gestational diabetes!

We are heading up to NJ for Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to our 3D/4D ultrasound with our family and looking forward to the baby shower! It'll be a special Thanksgiving this year :)

But, I'm tired and my brain needs some rest. So onto the picture for this week!

28 weeks...ish

I'm late.

Brian and I were busy putting a puzzle together on Sunday and I totally forgot to do our photo.

Then Monday was busy. I went to the chiropractor to try to help the pain in my hip. Tuesday I just forgot and I was super tired.

I still didn't do the board, but I did take a picture this morning!

I got a call on Monday that I failed my 1st gestational diabetes test. So, I have to go on Friday for the 3 hour test. I'm really not looking forward to it because Brian has to work and I'll be going by myself :/

I also found out that I'm iron deficient. I now have to take iron pills 2x a day. Hopefully it'll help with my lack of energy.

Anyway...I feel like my belly is really starting to get large! Addison is just growing like crazy!

27 Weeks!

We are in the last week of the 2nd trimester! We're getting close! EEeeek!!

My legs and feet are getting tired faster. I'm sure it's partly because I'm getting further into my pregnancy, but I've also gained a bunch of weight! I won't share, it's too embarrassing! I just hope after Addison is born, I'll have the motivation to get back into shape. Not being able to afford a gym membership is definitely going to put a damper on that aspect....especially having a baby in the dead of winter!

Anyway...we have our next doctors appointment on Friday. We have our glucose testing (for real) this time. Hopefully I can eat somewhat well this week and pass that test!

She's still kicking around like crazy! Brian and I woke up at 4am one day this week and he got to feel her kicking around. He said that it felt like she was running a race in my tummy! Sometimes she gets really crazy in there! I wonder if that's any indication of what she's going to be like outside of my tummy....
